Material Takeoffs
A takeoff is the buildable materials list — not a price. Bring in any set of residential building plans and our staff will work out every piece of framing lumber, every sheet of sheathing, every connector, and lay out your floor system. It is the document you hand your crew and order from. If you just want to know what a project will cost, a free estimate is what you're after.
- Full materials list — framing, plywood, engineered wood, hardware, connectors
- I-joist layout included — correct joist sizes, spans, and hangers from your plans
- Works for new homes, additions, decks, fences, and remodels
- Typically 1–3 business days — longer in peak season; we'll give you a realistic date when you drop off your plans
- Available at all three store locations
Service 03
Free Estimates & Quotes
An estimate is the price — no plans required. Bring in residential plans, a sketch, or just a description, and our staff will walk through it with you and put together a detailed, itemized quote at no charge. Need the full engineered materials list to build from as well? That's a material takeoff.

Special Orders
If we don't stock it, we can get it. Our supplier network covers thousands of products — from rare species lumber and commercial-grade materials to specific brands, profiles, and dimensions not on our shelves. If it's buildable, we'd rather source it for you than send you across town.
